Frequently Asked Questions

How do I attend the ceremony virtually if I will not be in Mexico?

We understand that it is not feasible for everyone to attend in person. For those unable to join us in Mexico, we warmly invite you to celebrate with us virtually. We will provide details for attending virtually on this page. Please RSVP NO, and reach out to us directly if you would like to attend virtually.

When should I book my room?

Booking is available now until 65 days before our wedding on April 13th, 2025. It is required to book your room through this website via the "Book Now" tab. It will give you the best available price and will help us track our guest list. Pricing is dynamic, but your cost will be locked in as soon as you book. The resort requires guests to book at least 3 nights, and we will be hosting wedding events Friday night through Sunday night. We recommend booking ASAP! Please reach out to Tom or Emma if you have any additional questions regarding booking your room.

Which room should I book?

There are three sections of this all-inclusive resort. All guests are welcome to stay in whichever section they prefer. The sections are as followed:

1. Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres: These are the standard Junior Suite rooms, allowing access to 6 all-inclusive restaurants, 6 bars, 3 pools, and the beach. This is what we recommend and what will be the best price. We stayed in these rooms when we visited the resort last December, and we had an absolutely fantastic time.

2. Family Selection - Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres: This is for an "extra kid-friendly" experience. These rooms have access to an exclusive family pool, in addition to everything the standard rooms have access to.

3. TRS Coral Hotel: This is the adults-only section of the resort (18+). These rooms have access to two extra restaurants, an adult-only pool, in addition to everything the standard rooms have access to. Tom and Emma will be staying in this section.

Is the price better the more people in the room?

Since the price of the room includes food, drink, and entertainment for all occupants, there may not be meaningful savings in doubling up on rooms. We recommend evaluating prices in all scenarios through the room booking tool to see what works best for you.

Should we book a "transfer" when we book our room?

The resort is a 45-minute drive through Cancun from the airport. Booking a transfer is necessary to get from the airport to the hotel and back. We strongly recommend booking this when you book your room through Destify. Alternatively, we have used "USA Transfers" in the past and can recommend this service. If you don't have transportation booked, the taxi stand at the airport is quite hectic.

How do we get around the resort?

This resort covers around 320,000 square meters. Don't worry about getting around! No matter where you are staying, there are plentiful golf carts and boat rides that will take you to restaurants, pools, rooms, and the beach. You can also walk anywhere in about 10 minutes or less.

What is included at this all-inclusive resort?

With your room, you will have unlimited food and drinks at all the included restaurants, buffets, bars, and pools. Also included will be a selection of activities and shows throughout the day. There may be additional costs for special activities, excursions, and shows if you choose.

What should I wear to the wedding?

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting that all of our guests dress in "Resort Formal" attire. Think on the formal side with more muted colors. Here is a Pinterest board for reference

Is there a spa?

Yes! There is a full spa and hydrotherapy pool at the resort located in the Zentropia building. You will have an opportunity to book treatments when you check-in for an extra cost.

Do we need cash/pesos? Do we need to tip?

Since the resort is all-inclusive, you won't need much cash. Tipping isn't expected, but if you feel so inclined, a few US Dollars are very appreciated by the staff. No need to exchange for pesos if you don't plan on leaving the resort.

Is Mexico safe to visit?

The safety of our guests is the top priority for us. We visited the resort in December 2023, and took several transfers and taxis around the area while looking for a wedding venue. We felt exceptionally safe during our transfers and at the resort. The resort itself is a gated premises and requires all visitors to have reservations before entering the grounds. The resort has never had a major security incident in its 6 years of operation. Cancun has a crime index similar to Los Angeles and Las Vegas, we recommend increased situational awareness if you make the choice to leave the resort during your stay.
